Ben manages complex investigations across sub-Saharan Africa, with particular expertise in Angola and Mozambique, as well as other Lusophone markets. He advises clients on due diligence, commercial intelligence, and litigation support matters in the energy, extractives, infrastructure, transport, and logistics sectors.
Ben has conducted assignments on the ground in Angola, Nigeria, Kenya, as well as Portugal and Cyprus.
Before joining Risk Advisory, Ben spent several years at an international corporate intelligence firm where he managed internal investigations and asset tracing assignments across Africa.
Project highlights
- Managed a wide-ranging country risk assessment for an international financial institution considering opportunities in Angola, analysing political, regulatory, financial-crime analysis.
- Conducted a complex threat and stakeholder assessment into a potential mobility scheme in South Africa.
- Led an investigation in the Mozambican aviation sector including an assessment of the subject’s political exposure and related regulatory and reputational risks.
